BACKGROUND
Sheryl Morang Holmberg is a  published poet, author and journalist with extensive experience in writing, editing and page design.  She has worked in both print and electronic  media and has received many  awards for her work. Sheryl is a member of The Editorial Freelancers Association, Detroit Working Writers, and has earned a listing in the Poets & Writers directory.  She worked as a writer-in-residence with InsideOut Literary Arts Detroit and was accepted into the Creative Writers in Schools program through ArtServe Michigan. Sheryl has also taught  creative writing workshops at elementary schools, the Ann Arbor Bookfair and the Michigan Reading Council Literary Workshops.  She has participated in public performances at the Scarab Club, Detroit Festival of the Arts, Arts in the City, and the Ferndale Arts & Cultural Commission Summer Reading Series.
